OUR STANDARD SHIPPING is UPS GROUND - shipped when temperatures are approximately between 40 - 80 degrees F, it is our policy as wine professionals to avoid allowing the wine from getting too warm/too cold. Please refrain from leaving your wine out in direct sunlight (warm to extremely hot temperatures will cause pressure, leakage and possibly spoil the wine.
While this doesn’t mean immediately the wine is bad, it does affect long term quality. We want to help you avoid this from happening.

'DIRECT ADULT SIGNATURE' - Direct Adult Signature is a required service in compliance with alcohol laws regulations on all/any shipment containing alcoholic beverages. An adult 21-years of age and older with a valid government issued identification must be present to sign for the package at the exact shipping address as listed on your order. A valid government issued photo identification must be presented to the courier for age verification when signing for the package. Alcohol laws prohibit the delivery driver from leaving any packages containing alcohol at the door or left unattended for any reason. (Packages containing alcohol will not have any 'Door Tag' sign-off release authority)
TRANSIT TIME, DELIVERY TIME, DELIVERY WINDOW OF TIME - Carriers control the transit times, delivery time, delivery window of time. Please have your tracking number on hand when contacting the provided carrier for updates, etc. Email us with any special requests, limits or concerns regarding shipping, before placing order – [email protected]. EXPRESS SHIPPING - is the transit time for the duration of the package and is not inclusive of packaging and processing time necessary occurring in our warehouse. Express Shipping service will be selected once your package ships weather permitting and at our sole discretion.
SHIPPING WITHIN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA - We offer overnight shipping only for delivery between Tuesday and Friday (e.g.: if your 'overnight' order lands on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday, processing and packaging of shipping will occur on the following business day, beginning Tuesday and ships overnight within 24-48 hrs weather permitting and at our sole discretion. Certain 'Beyond Point' (areas beyond the local delivery driver's route) shipping address may required longer transit times If you need your wines sooner, email us prior to purchase, [email protected]
RETURNS - Return/Cancellation policy: We do not offer store credit, cancellations, returns, or refunds for orders containing perishables, alcoholic beverages. For the security, safety, health reasons of all/ any parties involved, we do not accept returns on perishable goods, including but not limited to wines, drinks, edibles that are purchased, purchased in error, not returnable for any reason, except for reasonable defect subject to the full discretion of Beekeeper Cellars. Corked wine does not qualify as a defect for return. Any return shipment by the carrier or buyer will incur a restocking fee of 25% and minus the return shipping costs. This will be deducted from canceled order(s), refused shipment(s), return shipment(s) of any kind. All sales are final, no refunds, no exchanges, no credit, no exception
CORKED WINE - Cork is a natural raw product used in bottling wine. Corked wine(s) does not qualify for a return. It is an unusual occurrence, but does happen on a rare occasion. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to distinguish if a wine(s)/ alcoholic beverage(s) is corked when the bottle leaves the winery. The percent of TCA tainted wine is, roughly, less than 2%.
MORE ABOUT CORKED WINE - Corked wine is a term for wine that has been contaminated with TCA (Chemical structure of 2,4,6-trichloroanisole). TCA can only be detected after bottling, aging and opening. Each cork is individually unique, any one particular cork could have the presence of TCA. Therefore, it is not due to the winery's fault, nor the distributor, nor the retailer selling the wine - but Beekeeper will replace wines found to be “corked" if they are detected in the same vintage year. DAMAGED SHIPMENT - Any shipments received damaged, must be reported immediately to the driver in writing before you sign for the package, photo references taken for record and email us immediately at: [email protected]
MISSED DELIVERIES, REATTEMPT DELIVERY, RETURN SHIPMENT FOR ANY REASON - We are not responsible for missed, re-attempt of delivery or returned shipments – additional charges may be incurred and is the responsibility of the buyer. Any additional charges will be issued to the client in the form of a follow up invoice or deducting from the original order. Buyer is responsible for paying all/any charges related to any missed deliveries, reattempt delivery, return shipment.
CUSTOM REQUESTS - Including shipping situations, modification of order, must be communicated to our team before you place your order, during the placement of your order, or within 24-hours of placing your order. Any requests, modifications of any kind after an order is successfully placed and ("successfully placed" order is defined as an order number being issued by the online system) will incur additional services and charges that are the full responsibility of the buyer.
If there is an error made by Beekeeper Cellars, we will promptly remedy the situation. If we are not at fault for an error, the cost of repairing, servicing or modifying may be the buyer's responsibility.

- Any damage/missing shipment(s) are to be reported in writing and photographed (if available) to the carrier/delivery personnel and Beekeeper Cellars immediately upon receipt
- All/any alcohol shipment is subject to your state laws and regulations, it is the buyer's responsibility to comply with their state laws and regulations regarding alcohol
- Package Rerouting is not optional, no exceptions. Packages may be held at a UPS Custom Center for Pick-Up Only
- Request-To-Have-Package-Held-For-Pick-Up (optional) is only available at a UPS Customer Center;
- BEWARE: Select UPS Access Point, The UPS Store, and any other UPS affiliated facilities may be legally licensed to receive/handle alcohol shipments and therefore not all UPS affiliated facilities are able to receive your alcohol shipment to be held for pick-up. Do not attempt to reroute or have your package held at a non-alcohol-licensed UPS affiliated facility, these facilities will refuse your shipment, buyer assumes responsibility for any shipments rerouted or requested to be held at a non-authorized facility rendering in refusal of your package, any/all return shipping charges and reship shipping charges

- Damaged goods from transit: please document the damages on the bill of lading/paperwork/device being presented by the delivery personnel. Failure to state your damages properly may delay the process of a successful claim against the carrier.
- After documenting the damages with the delivery personnel and carrier, please contact us directly with the information regarding any damages. We will proceed to launch a full investigation into your order and will handle it on a case-by-case basis. We hope to make the process as stress-free as possible. - All products are thoroughly inspected before fulfillment of your order. There is no reason for us to intentionally sell/send damaged goods, we all know word-of-mouth is the most powerful form of advertisement, ruining our reputation with an order is just not worth it.
