OUR STANDARD SHIPPING is GROUND UPS - shipped when temperatures are approximately between 40 - 80 degrees F, it is our policy as wine professionals to avoid allowing the wine from getting too warm. Please refrain from leaving your wine out in direct sunlight (warm to extremely hot temperatures will cause pressure, leakage and possibly spoil the wine.
While this doesn’t immediately mean the wine is bad, it does effect long term quality and we want to help you avoid this from happening.
- 'Direct Adult Signature' label is a law regulation required label for all/ any alcoholic beverage shipments. An adult 21-years of age and older with a valid government issued identification must be present to sign for the package. A valid government issued photo identification must be presented to the courier for age verification when signing for the package. (Packages containing alcohol will not have any 'Door Tag' sign-off release authority).
- Contact us for a quote if you are not within the contiguous 48-States of the United States weather permitting (Alaska, Hawaii).
- We ship to most states, some states are DTC Prohibited (Alcoholic Beverage "Direct-To-Consumer" Prohibited States)and not alcohol shipment friendly due to your state's alcohol shipping regulations. Contact your local state authorities to lobby for change. **shipping procedures and cost subject to change, pending your shipping location.
- Out-of-State Shipping costs subject to change based on quantity of bottles ordered, shipping address, any specific modifications.

- Unfortunately, we do not ship to APO/ FPO and P.O. Boxes addresses.

RETURNS
Return/Cancellation policy: We do not offer store credit, cancellations, returns, or refunds for orders containing perishables, alcoholic beverages. For the security, safety, health reasons of all/ any parties involved, we do not accept returns on perishable goods, including but not limited to wines, drinks, edibles that are purchased, purchased in error, not returnable for any reason, except for reasonable defect.
Cork is a natural raw product used in bottling wine. Corked wine(s) does not qualify for a return. It is an unusual occurrence, but does happen on a rare occasion. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to distinguish if a wine(s)/ alcoholic beverage(s) is corked when the bottle leaves the winery. The percent of TCA tainted wine is roughly less than 2% .
MORE ABOUT CORKED WINE
Corked wine is a term for wine that has been contaminated with TCA (Chemical structure of 2,4,6-trichloroanisole). TCA can only be detected after bottling, aging and opening. Each cork is individually unique, any one particular cork could have the presence of TCA. Therefore, it is not due to the wineries fault, nor the distributor, nor the retailer selling the wine - but Beekeeper will replace wines found to be “corked" if they are detected in the same vintage year. Unfortunately, we can not ensure against corked wine outside of the vintage year due to the number of variables that can promoted cork issues. .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cork_taint
DAMAGED WINE - Must be reported immediately as our shipper insures all shipments for quality.
If there is an error made by Beekeeper Cellars, we will promptly remedy the situation. If we are not at fault for an error, the cost of repairing, servicing or modifying may be the responsibility of the buyer.
We do not allow for returns. However, if a shipment comes back to us, we are entitled to a restocking fee of 25% and minus incurred shipping costs. This will be subtracted from cancelled orders, refused orders, and any/ all returned orders.
Shipping Policy - Wine is shipped weather permitting. All orders must be signed for by an adult 21-years of age and older with a valid government issued identification. Shipping to your work address maybe the best choice for many in California as we offer overnight shipping only for delivery between Tuesday – Friday. (e.g.: if your 'overnight' order lands on a Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday, processing and packing of shipment will occur on the following business day [beginning Tuesday], and shipped out within 24-48 hours). We are not responsible for missed, re-attempt of delivery or returned shipments – additional charges may be incurred and is the responsibility of the buyer. Any additional charges will be issued to the client in the form of a follow up invoice.
CUSTOM REQUESTS - including shipping situations, modification of orders must be communicated to our team before you place your order, during the placement of your order, or within 24-hours of placing your order. Any requests, modifications of any kind after an order is successfully placed (define "successfully placed": order number has been issued) will incur additional charges responsible by the buyer.

- Damaged goods from transit: please state the damages on the bill of lading/ paperwork being presented by the delivery personnel. Failure to state your damages properly may delay the process of a successful claim against the carrier.
- After noting your damages with the carrier, please contact us with the information regarding any damages. We will proceed to launch a full investigation into your order, depending on the situation, a return and credit back to the original form of payment will be completed. We promise to make the process as stress-free as possible. As adults your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
- All products are thoroughly inspected before fulfillment of your order. There is no reason for us to intentionally sell/send damaged goods, we all know word-of-mouth is the most powerful form of advertisement, ruining our reputation with an order is just not worth it. We are here to provide you with extraordinary care, service, reliability, commitment, and most of all extraordinary products!
